| Ramadan Announcement from Rayyan Center: Assalamu Alaikum and Ramadan Kareem! InshAllah, Ramadan will begin this Thursday evening. We pray that Allah SWT will bless us all during this wonderful month. The first day of fasting will be this Friday, April 24. Below, we have attached the Ramadan 2020 calendar and some Ramadan duas for your convenience.Virtual Ramadan PlanGiven the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the State of Michigan stay-at-home order, the Rayyan Center will remain closed. However, we plan on reopening once it is safe to have congregational salah. In place of our original, in-person Ramadan plans, we will have daily programming for the community via remote ZOOM khatiras. Beginning tomorrow (Thursday, April 24) at 7:30 PM, and continuing every day, Saturday through Thursday, throughout Ramadan, Hafiz Hunzla Zaidi will give us a daily 15-minute review of one Juz of the Quran. Each Friday during this time (7:30-7:45 PM), we will have a guest Alim. This Friday, Brother Habeeb Quadri, Founder of High Quality Educational Consulting and board chair of MYNA, will be our first guest speaker. On Sunday, May 10 from 7:30-8:00 PM, the Vice President of Yaqeen Institute, Brother Altaf Husain, will address us. The access information for these ZOOM meetings is also listed below.
