Following is Ramadan announcement from MMI (Westland):
As salaam alaikum Inshallah MMI will inform this distribution sometime tomorrow i.e. Thursday April 23rd after Maghreb about moon sighting. Based on that start of Ramadan will be determined. This is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and we will inshallah follow in those footsteps. There will be no Taraweeh prayers for general public. Imam and selected few individuals 4-5 will pray Taraweeh with social distancing guidelines and keep the masjid Abaad. Appreciate your cooperation by not coming to the masjid for Taraweeh. Unfortunately individuals will be turned away. Thank you for understanding during these challenging times and pls stay tuned for more info regarding moon sighting inshallah. Jazakallah
